5 Young Spaniards Who Could Be Newcastle's Next Ayoze Perez

4. Sandro Ramirez (Barcelona)

The Canarian attacker has previously been linked with a loan move to Newcastle, although it was one that of course did not go through. However, a couple of months on, the landscape for Sandro's career has started to look rather different. And that's good news for potential suitors.

After Barcelona B were relegated from Spain's second tier a little earlier this summer, the safe haven for the club's talented youngsters have taken a significant hit. For a place that housed the likes of Sandro, Munir El Haddadi, Alen Halilovic and Adama Traore last season, it's now the default opinion that such talents cannot continue to play for the B-side down in the third division (a notoriously rugged league in Spain).

But, at the same time, such players clearly aren't ready to pose selection dilemmas for Luis Enrique in the first team yet, and possibly never will be. Though Sandro and Munir are the two leading candidates to stick around the treble-winning side, it's likely that only one will make the cut.

So with Sandro among one of many players in limbo about his future, offers from around Europe which could quell the uncertainty would no doubt have to be considered. Seeing the success that a fellow Canarian (Ayoze Perez) and fellow attacker has had since moving to Tyneside, heading to the Premier League could be tempting for the Barcelona man.

He could well be the most expensive entry on this list should the Magpies choose to raid Barca.
