1. John Carver Must Place His Faith In The Youthful Flair Players He Has At His Disposal
Rolando Aarons' seemingly never-ending absence continues to frustrate Magpies fans because his three cameo league appearances have produced some exciting results - but "youngsters" like Sammy Ameobi and Mehdi Abeid have proven their first-team worth this season too. Abeid in particular must continue to remain in the starting XI - he is good on the ball, always wants possession, and covers ground extremely well. He is a huge asset to the side. But Adam Armstrong, Callum Roberts and Lubomir Satka must be given an opportunity by John Carver - mainly because he is running out of alternatives - and hopefully repay his faith. Armstrong has looked bright in patches but must add more of a goal threat when he comes on for the first team, while the other two have excited in the youth set-up for an extended period now. Cisse's suspension gives Armstrong and Roberts the chance to prove they should be in the Newcastle starting line-up - they now must rise to the challenge, and inject some much needed flair into an all-too-often stale Magpies attack.
