4. Emmanuel Rivière

One thing that cannot be levelled against Emmanuel Rivière is his work ethic, which is never lacking - but in 926 minutes of Premier League football he has failed to score a single goal and, for a £6 million forward, that simply isn't good enough. Against Swansea City Rivière was once again extremely unlucky not to find the back of the net when his excellent header was expertly tipped around the post by Lukasz Fabianski, but the former France Under-21 international was brought in from Monaco to score goals and he hasn't done that.
