4. He'll Win An FA Cup, League Cup... Or Qualify For The Champions League... Maybe...
This one is a bit tongue-in-cheek admittedly but everyone has heard the ins and outs of Mike Ashley's already infamous final-day interview where he promised "investment" in the Newcastle squad this summer. Most notably Ashley also promised he would remain as the Magpies' owner until the club had "won something" - which includes qualifying for the Champions League in the Sports Direct magnate's eyes - and that should entice Austin further. Although most around Tyneside are sceptical to say the least about Ashley's "promises", Austin may well think he could be the man to make those lofty ambitions a reality.
