Andy Murray: 5 Reasons He Will Win More Grand Slam Titles

1. Murray Is Able To Compete On Different Surfaces

As British tennis fans, it's been a long time since we have seen a player of this level of ability. Tennis has changed as a game an awful lot since I began watching it. This has meant that the way the best players play has also changed a great deal. For instance, there was a time when serve and volley was generally what was seen, but it's rare to see this tactic seen at all. Equally, there was a time when big serving player were able to dominate, which is why someone like Andy Roddick had success for a while. However, these days players have become so good at defending that the best players have an awful lot of variety to their game. And this is largely the difference between say a Murray and those that came before him such as Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski. The other factor with players like Henman and Rusedski is that you always used to feel was that Wimbledon was the only event they had a chance in. The feeling with Murray is completely different since we honestly expect him to compete in all the Grand Slam events. Obviously, he has two Grand Slam titles to his name €“ but he has also reached a French Open final and the Australian Open final on three occasions. This and the fact that he is still only 26 makes us supremely confident that he will continue to win Grand Slam titles.
