Ok, so I might have been have gotten a bit carried away in my debut article as I predicted that Arsenal would win the Premier League. My prediction was looking embarrassingly wrong as Arsenal threw away an early lead on Saturday, succumbing to a 3-1 defeat at hands of Aston Villa. The reaction that followed shocked me to be honest. However with Liverpool and Spurs showing off impressive signings in their opening weekend victories and the disappointment of an uneventful summer in the transfer market after so much promised. It is no wonder how the defeat just seemed to push the Arsenal faithful over the edge, brandishing their 'spend' banners and chanting at the long-serving manager. In a football phone-in this weekend there were many bold comments, regarding Arsenal as a 'byword for failure' and one said they would rather have a cardboard box at the helm than Wenger. Arsenal fans, I beg you to calm down. There are plenty of teams in a worth situation than yours. If that didn't work here are 5 reasons why not to worry.
