Arsenal: 5 Reasons Why Arsene Wenger Should Be Sacked

1. It's Time For Change

EmiratesStadium Seventeen years is a long time. In that period, Arsenal have moved out of their famous home at Highbury and into the newly-built Emirates, signalling the biggest period of change in the club's 126-year history. Once a stadium capable of housing 57,000 supporters, the demand for it to become an all-seated stadium in the mid-nineties meant that Highbury's capacity was reduced to 38,000 and the need to expand became all the more apparent when Wembley was used by the Gunners for their Champions League ties between 1998 and 2000. By relocating to the Emirates, Arsenal proved they are indeed a team capable of change. The next huge change they could make is replacing Arsene Wenger, which would be a decision almost as big as waving goodbye to Highbury and would change the landscape at the club indelibly. But it is one that has to happen. Under Arsene Wenger, Arsenal are a team in a continual state of decline and if they miss out on Champions League qualification for the first time in fifteen years then you can't help but worry for them - both financially and in their ability to attract world class signings.
