1. Big Performances
The season has been a tale of frustration for Arsenal, and if they are going to beat Tottenham and Everton to 4th place then they will need big, consistent performances from their key players, starting tomorrow. In Jack Wilshere, they have a player who defies his young age, constantly producing. What they need now is for others to follow suit: Theo Walcott has shown patches of genius which you feel are about to become regular at any moment. If anything, Arsenal just need to have a bit more belief in themselves. In players like Santi Cazorla, they have undoubted quality that is more than enough to see off a side like Aston Villa. If those players particularly, along with Lucas Podolski and Olivier Giroud can produce, then 4th place is entirely possible. The 5 players mentioned present almost the entire goal threat for Arsenal, and their defensive issues adds weight to the pressure on their attack. A good day for their forwards would surely mean a comfortable home win, perhaps even by 4 or 5; they have had a few free scoring games this season and Villa, perhaps critically, have been on the wrong end of a few.
