Arsenal Next Manager: 10 Replacements For Arsene Wenger
8. Dennis Bergkamp
The Arsenal legend would undoubtedly be a popular appointment and would immediately get dissenting fans onside. A skillful, elegant forward in his playing days, it would be expected that he would bring the same style of football to Arsenal if he got the top job. The Dutchman is currently the assistant manager to Ronald de Boer at Ajax, and a lack of managerial experience would probably count against him. Add to that he well know fear of flying and you wonder how he would be able to manage a club competing in the Champions League. A move for Bergkamp would be embraced by the romantics in Arsenal's fanbase and as much as it would be to see him slyly elbow his opposite number in the dugout while the referree isn't looking, this one might be even more of a longshot than Pochettino. That said, though, if de Boer moves in from Ajax this summer and Bergkamp replaces him, he could be a viable candidate in a few years with some managerial experience under his belt.
