1. Thierry Henry
Henry's status as the greatest Arsenal player is indisputable, out of all the foreign legends in this list he is the only one to have been immortalised in bronze outside the Emirates Stadium. Henry is Arsenal's all time top goalscorer with 228 goals, and third in the list of Premier League all time scorers behind Andy Cole and Alan Shearer. Henry really was the complete forward: he had pace, dribbling, heading, finishing with both feet, passing and was a set piece specialist. After scoring a screamer, Henry's outrageous nonchalance enraged the opposition fans and delighted the Arsenal faithful. He broke this trend upon returning to Arsenal in 2012 on loan, where the former captain scored the winner in his first game back with a trademark sidefoot finish before celebrating ecstatically as the stadium erupted. This comeback only served to swell the legend of Henry further after there were doubts as to whether the 34 year old could still cut it at the highest level. This season there have been rumours as to whether Henry will return for a third time, but surely the King couldn't do it again... could he?
