4. Team Mates Befitting His Status
To say City have the better squad is not one side of an argument, more a statement of fact. I wont bother to list the individuals, but Citys policy is to have two star players for every position, whereas Wenger and Arsenal are more prudently trying to mix established stars with players with potential. At times van Persie has been a one man team, single-handedly dragging the Gunners forward. At one point last season it appeared not a week went by without van Persie coming to the rescue, a moment of class helping the team to all three points. At City he will be surrounded by quality players in their prime. There is a flip side to this, which we will come on to, but to be the best you have to beat the best and van Persie may feel surrounding himself with better players will help improve his game
