Arsenal Transfers: 5 Players Wenger Must Buy To Catch United

2. Gonzalo Higuain

GonzaloHiguain The most talked about Arsenal target of this summer, Gonzalo Higuain would be a great addition to a side looking to catch up with Moyes' boys to win the Premier League. Various sources of statistics quote Higuain as being the second most clinical forward in the world after Lionel Messi, which is a statistic that pretty much speaks for itself in terms of what the Argentine would bring: goals. Aside from that, the fact that Arsenal are looking to sign an established Argentina international and Real Madrid starter shows the intent many fans have been asking for. Considered a safe alternative to messrs Rooney and Suarez, Higuain would come with none of the baggage which make the other two strikers on this list a risk. By all accounts, Higuain is a hark working professional who would add a touch of class to the current Arsenal team, with a forward three of Podolski, Higuain and Walcott looking like a potent goalscoring force.
