Arsenal Transfers: 6 Deals Wenger Could Do Today

5. Adrien Rabiot

There was once a time that Arsenal only really plundered Barcelona's youth team for emerging talents, but with less youngsters taking the option to move to North London from Spain, it looks like they've turned their attentions elsewhere. The latest potential starlet supposedly in Wenger's gaze is Paris Saint Germain's highly rated defensive midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who had been thought to be on his way to London with his agent to discuss terms. In the past day or so, the news has instead moved to link Rabiot with a move to Roma, but as long as any deal is unconfirmed there's potential for Wenger to convince the 19 year old to choose his Gunners revolution. Hi contract expires next summer, and would be available for around £11m - and would thus be more affordable than some of the other options in his position. Typically enigmatic, when questioned on Rabiot, Wenger responded as only he could: €œI just put one answer: I don't tell you.€
