3. André Santos
24 caps for Brazil is usually a good thing but there's been little good from André Santos during his short time at Arsenal. A good goalscoring record from left-back at Fenerbahçe where he was signed from in 2011 the Brazilian is certainly decent going forward, but is nowhere to be seen when it comes to defending. I was surprised when Wenger took a gamble on Santos and was not surprised to see the Brazilian failing to defend having seem him play international football and in the Turkish Süper Lig prior to joining the Gunners. André Santos had made 23 Premier League appearances for Arsenal before being loaned back to his home country with Grêmio for the second half of last season. Left-back Nacho Monreal was signed in January, Kieran Gibbs is already in the team, therefore I suspect Wenger is already looking for a buyer for his Brazilian flop.
