One final marquee name still on the market this summer is Radamel Falcao. Most of the game's biggest hitters are unavailable following transfers over the last few months with the likes of Luis Suarez, James Rodriguez and Robert Lewandowski tied down at rival clubs, but we could yet see one final star name make a move before deadline day with Falcao reportedly unhappy with life at Monaco. Falcao only joined the Ligue 1 side last summer for a reported 60 million but became unsettled almost the second his feet touched ground in France, amid fears his salary could effectively be cut in half be stringent French tax laws. The Colombian has been linked with a move away ever since then, with reports he could quit Monaco after less than a year persisting over the summer. Arsenal were interested in Falcao last summer shortly before he moved to France instead and Wenger could reignite that interest having watched the South American bounce back from the injury that wrecked his World Cup hopes to score two goals in three appearances already this term, once again cementing his reputation as one of the most lethal marksmen in Europe. Do Arsenal need to replace Oliver Giroud or is Arsene Wenger right not to dip into the transfer market? Share your thoughts in the comments thread, below.
