3. Edinson Cavani From Napoli?

Arsene Wenger is said to be weighing up a move for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, a player of whom the Frenchman is said to like.* The Uruguayan has been in red hot form in Serie A this season, scoring 26 goals in 25 appearances. Such is his good form that he is believed to have a buy-out clause in his contract of £52 million** That would mean Wenger would have to part with a serious chunk of change for the hitman, considering his wage demands would be somewhere in the region of £150,000-per-week. Wenger is in desperate need of a world class striker however having lost Robin van Persie to Manchester United, who is currently scoring for fun for the league leaders.
Likelihood? Signing Cavani really would be a statement of intent by Wenger and proof to any doubters that he is serious about spending big money to reverse Arsenal's fortunes in the Premier League. A move is more likely to happen in the summer however.
