3. Arsenal

A controversial choice, perhaps, since Arsenal have Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Gervinho at their disposal, but none of those are exactly firing on all cylinders. Theo Walcott
is on top goalscoring form this term, however, but he's not really an out-and-out striker, regardless of what he thinks, so a number 9 who is likely to bag 20 goals a season is certainly something Arsenal could do with. Christian Benteke could be that number 9: he's tall, strong and powerful, fairly pacey, a great target man and knows where the back of the net is. He has also proven himself to be up to the task in the Premier League prior to potential joining the Gunners, unlike the aforementioned striker trio they currently have. Whether or not Arsenal
need him in the long run may well be open to debate, as their strike force is relatively new and has the potential to gel to the point where goals are more frequent. But, as things stand, they could really do with a man of Benteke's talents in that striker role (and the fact is they
have expressed an interest,
according to Metro). Expect a bid in the summer.
