Cardiff New Manager: 5 Replacements For Malky Mackay

1. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the bookmaker's favourite to succeed Malky Mackay at Cardiff City Stadium. StanJames currently have odds at 4/6 for the Norwegian to step into the breech, after West Brom reportedly cooled their interest in bringing him to the Midlands to replace Steve Clarke. Currently in charge of Molde, Solskjaer has had moderate success as a coach since bringing to an end his illustrious playing career. He led Molde to back-to-back Norwegian Premier League titles in 2011 and 2012 and won the Norwegian Football Cup in 2013. As a result, the Norwegian outfit have offered the 40-year-old a new three-year contract, which Solskjaer is understood to have put on hold as he considers his next career move. Could we see him return to England? Who do you want to see replace Malky Mackay? Is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the right man for the job? Let us know in the comment section, below.
