1. Georginio Wijnaldum - Vs Southampton (August 9 2015)
Georginio Wijnaldum would certainly have been the name on everyone's lips as they left St James' Park following Newcastle's 2-2 draw with Southampton. The Magpies' new signing moved the ball well, retained possession and capped off his debut with a goal, making him the seventh Newcastle player to net on their Premier League debut - all of which have come at St James' Park. Graziano Pelle had put the away side ahead but Papiss Cisse then levelled and Shane Long finally rounded off the scoring. But Wijnaldum's goal was the pick of the bunch. Following a quick counter attack Gabriel Obertan was played clear down the right in the 48th minute by Papiss Cisse. The Frenchman then delivered a delicious ball into the box which Wijnaldum, arriving late, rose to head home a magnificent goal. It was a brilliant finish, and brought a bellowing roar from the home crowd. The Dutchman will hope to continue in such a fashion going forward - and aim to emulate the likes of Cisse and Duncan Ferguson, rather than Xisco or Stephane Guivarc'h...
