Manager: Alex Ferguson

Points: 92 (42 game season)

Other Honours: FA Cup, Charity Shield

Even in a longer season, 92 points was still an incredible tally for United, who were one League Cup final away from being the first English side to achieve the domestic treble.

While the Class of 92 hadn't emerged yet, new signing Roy Keane had an instant impact in the heart of the midfield. Cantona and Hughes got the goals while Bruce, Irwin, Gary Pallister, Paul Parker and Peter Schmiechel kept them out at the other end.

The ever present Giggs, Paul Ince and Andrei Kanchelskis rounded off an incredible United team, whose dominance set an ominous tone for the rest of the Premier League teams. Manchester United were THE team to beat.
