Liverpool: 5 Reasons Reds Can Still Win The Premier League

4. Impressive Home Form

Over recent years Liverpool have been criticised for dropping points in games that they should win; specifically in their home games. Going back to the 2008/09 season, most Liverpool fans will recall that they were held to two 0-0 draws with newly promoted Stoke City, and there are even fresher memories of similar disappointing results, such losing 3-1 to Aston Villa at Anfield when all the form pointed towards a home win. But this year it seems different: Liverpool have played 10 games at Anfield and have won an impressive nine of them with the 1-0 defeat to Southampton the only black mark on their record. It is a widely considered idea that if you can keep your home form up there with the best in the league then you have a strong chance of winning the title and Liverpool's home form is third best in the division. It remains to be seen if Liverpool's home form will be able to stand the test of time after all they have some tough home fixtures on the horizon but the Reds have looked almost unplayable in front of the Kop at times this season so they're in with a good chance.
