There is no goalkeeper in the world who can boast the experience Gianluigi Donnarumma can at such a young age. Since debuting in Serie A at just 16 years old, the Italian has gone on to play an incredible 106 league games for AC Milan before reaching his 20th birthday.

Donnarumma has for some time been considered one of Italy's greatest young prospects, and is widely regarded as the successor to Gianluigi Buffon. Though his international experience is somewhat limited with just five caps to his name, this is to be expected for such a young player. Had Italy qualified for the 2018 World Cup, it is likely Donnarumma would have traveled to Russia, but with the next 15-20 years ahead of him, he will not be lacking in international experience for long.

Based on his age and potential, the Milan goalkeeper is another target that would likely cost Liverpool around £30-40 million, and there is no guarantee that he would hit the ground running in the Premier League, as it is a very different challenge to playing in Serie A. However, if given the time and patience to improve, Donnarumma may be the best option for Klopp to consider.
