Liverpool Transfers: Ranking Brendan Rodgers's Signings From Worst To Best

5. Kolo Toure

Kolo Toure Kolo Toure is, like Moses, another flop who joined Liverpool this summer having also failed to impress at his previous club, Manchester City. The Ivorian was something of an outcast at the Etihad following his arrival on a free contract at Anfield, after making just 15 appearances in his last campaign for the 2011/12 Premier League champions. The 32-year-old has enjoyed a successful career, winning the Premier League and FA Cup with City and of course forming part of that famous "Invincibles" Arsenal squad of 2004 that saw the Gunners storm to the title. But that triumph was nearly a decade ago and Toure's best days are firmly behind him. That being said, the centre-back has enjoyed something of a renaissance at Anfield since leaving City and has put in a series of sterling performances at the back - that was until a groin injury sidelined him indefinitely.
