Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao is the in form player in La Liga at the moment. With usual suspects Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo hogging all the limelight in recent seasons, the Colombian has made his rivals stand up and take note. He has scored 20 goals from just 17 matches this season, and has been unsurprisingly linked with a move to the Etihad as well as a clutch of other top side's.* However, the forward appears to be keen on staying in Spain until the end of the current season rather than moving to the Premier League, whilst Atletico Madrid have always insisted that he isnt for sale anyway.** With the player himself appearing unwilling to force through a transfer from Atletico, it seems very unlikely that he will move to City during the current transfer window.
