2. Iker Casillas
The long-serving Real Madrid goalkeeper was ousted out of the side after sustaining an injury during last season, and has since been unable to get his starting place back. As a result, Casillas has
recently admitted he will be forced to find a move elsewhere in order to keep himself in contention of being the number one choice in goal for the Spanish national team in next summer's World Cup. The 32-year old made eight clean sheets in 19 games last season, but has failed to feature in the league this campaign. His sentimental value to Madrid has been going down in recent months, but he'll still cost around £10 million to sign. Being 33 next year would suggest his career is at its tail end, so would it be worth City shelling out a lot of money on his asking price and wages when he could well be considering retirement in a few years?
