1. Victor Valdes
The Barcelona man between the sticks put a number of European suitors on red alert after announcing he'd be leaving the side next summer when his contract with the Catalan giants expires. As if winning La Liga titles season after season would ever get boring, the 31-year old fancies a new challenge, and could be a perfect target for Manchester City. Making five clean sheets so far this campaign, the Spanish international wouldn't cost a penny if clubs are prepared to wait until the summer, but Barcelona will still try to offer a new deal to hold on to him. The only potential stumbling block is the large wages he'd warrant. As Valdes has won every trophy for club and country he's proven himself to be one of the best in his position, and will have a number of sides enquire for his services in the coming months, so his agent will be expected to play clubs off each other.
