Man City Transfers: Ranking Manuel Pellegrini's Signings From Worst To Best
2. Jesus Navas - £14.9 Million From Sevilla
There are concerns over Jesus Navas, who has in the past been prone to intense cases of home-sickness. A fear of travelling away from his hometown Los Palacios y Villafranca in southern Spain meant international call-ups were rejected by the winger, who rejected a move to Arsenal three years ago for the same reason. It remains to be seen if the Spain international can finally settle down - particularly in a foreign country - but it would seem that Navas's issues have since abated following his move to City from Sevilla, something which would have been virtually unthinkable but a few years ago. The 27-year-old has been showing signs of real quality following his move from Spain, featuring in all three of City's Premier League games so far this season, and his lightning-quick pace will cause defences problems. His arrival at the Etihad is particularly welcome given the hit-and-miss form of Samir Nasri last season, though Navas will need to add more goals to his game to justify his £14.9 million price-tag.
