Fulham may well have eked out arguably the best result of their season so far but did very little here to suggest they are capable of beating the drop. Each of their two goals bore all the hallmarks of a 'sucker punch' and came against the run of play with United dominating proceedings for large periods. The Cottagers enjoyed a measly 25% possession here and mustered just the three shots on target, two of which helped earn them a draw in truly fortuitous circumstances. Fulham had lost 13 of their last 16 league games, including the last four going into this encounter, which tells you they will be lucky to stay up this season. And they cannot get away with simply parking the bus and hoping for the best for the rest of the campaign, because this is a very average side. But for better finishing, United's 31 SHOTS ON GOAL may well have resulted in a rout and on a better day the Red Devils would have won this one at a canter. Next up is Liverpool and in March the Craven Cottage club face Chelsea, Newcastle, Manchester City and Everton, and you can't help but fear for them, regardless of this result.
