Man Utd: 5 Reasons David Moyes Should Be Sacked Immediately
2. He's Hurting United's Reputation
Under David Moyes's watch, Manchester United have completely and utterly lost their fear factor. Old Trafford is now more of a free-for-all than a fortress, with the carnival-like atmosphere and air of vulnerability giving the likes of West Brom, Newcastle, Everton and Swansea belief they can win. Each of those side's wins at the Theatre of Dreams (Swansea's was the first in their entire history) were historic because United used to be almost unbeatable on home soil. That is no longer the case. And the catastrophes the Reds have lurched to this season are not only damaging their reputation but will also have an adverse effect in the transfer window. Who wants to join a side who go out of the FA Cup in the 3rd round, aren't in the title race and might not even be in Europe next season? If you put that on offer to some of the world's greats this month, you're not exactly going to be seeing a stream of players jumping over each other to sign on the dotted line. United are going to find out in January that when it comes to making new signings, very few are going to buy into Moyes's vision as they once did Ferguson's. If United appoint someone with a bigger profile, or someone worth investing in like Jurgen Klopp, things may be different.
