Man Utd Transfers: 10 Deals That Should Happen In January

1. Nani OUT

When Louis van Gaal opted to sign a wealth of attacking talent in Radamel Falcao and Angel Di Maria at the beginning of the season, it was no surprise to see Nani shown the door. After struggling to impress under former Manchester United boss David Moyes during the 2013-14 campaign, the Portuguese winger was loaned to former club Sporting Lisbon in a bid to find regular first-team football and get him off the wage bill. Reports indicate although Van Gaal and United want to offload Nani on a permanent basis, only a handful of teams from Russia and Italy have shown an interest in snapping up the midfielder. With so few clubs interested in acquiring his signature, Nani will need to reassess his contract demands if he wants to continue his career at the highest level. It€™s clear the 28-year-old has outstayed his welcome at Old Trafford, but it will be up to him whether his departure a straightforward process.
