Following Louis van Gaal's successful World Cup campaign with the Netherlands national team, a number of Dutch players have been tipped to follow him to his new job Old Trafford. No more so than Stefan de Vrij, who has almost constantly been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer. De Vrij played in all seven of Holland's World Cup games at this summer's finals in Brazil, and was a crucial member of van Gaal's side. And now, the Feyenoord man could become a crucial member of his side at United, too. Reports suggest the Red Devils can snare the Dutchman for as little as £7 million which would be something of a bargain, though Italian side Lazio are also interested in the 22-year-old and have already had one bid rejected. That means United will have to act swiftly if they are to sign the young centre-half this summer, and now that the Mats Hummels deal appears to be dead in the water, they should waste no further time in getting a deal done. Man Utd fans - who do you think the Red Devils should sign now that Mats Hummels is unavailable? Let us know in the comment section, below.
