3. Ezequiel Garay
As well as at left back, another area of concern in United's back four is at centre back. With Rio Ferdinand turning 35 in November and Nemanja Vidic prone to lengthy spells on the sidelines with injury, it makes good sense for David Moyes to bring in at least one new centre half this summer. Back in March, it was claimed the Reds
had already signed Benfica's impressive Ezequiel Garay with the 26-year old Argentinian all set for a switch to Old Trafford in the summer. The authenticity of these claims is open to debate but one thing that cannot be doubted is his ability. He was superb against Chelsea in the Europa League Final last week and was one of the best players on the pitch for large spells of the game. The Blues have been keeping tabs on him too, so United could have to do battle with the West London outfit for the services of the £17 million-rated cenre half. If the Reds are to bring in a new centre back though, there are few better options than Garay at this moment in time.
