4. Leighton Baines
Again taking into mind United's defensive deficiencies last season, it would be wise of David Moyes to bring in a new left back, especially considering veteran Patrice Evra is starting to show signs of decline. The Frenchman has ben a terrific servant to Manchester United over the years but at 32 has lost that crucial yard of pace to his game. His positioning has at times been questionable and one must question for how much longer he can remain playing at the highest levels of the game. One of the most likely summer transfers this season will see Leighton Baines swap Goodison Park for Old Trafford and join former manager David Moyes at the Theatre of Dreams. The champions are
the bookmaker's favourite to land Baines in the summer and by doing so would also add some much needed depth to a defence that has at times looked a little threadbare, with winger Antonio Valencia at times called up to fill in at wing-back. Baines is one of the best players in his position in the Premier League and would be a welcome addition to the club.
