With Falcao, Rodriguez, Moutinho and others joining the club this summer, Nani has been the latest name linked with the French Ligue 2 champions. Monaco also have the advantage of having a manager like Claudio Ranieri who has a wealth of experience and could help to attract players from his former clubs such as Inter, Roma and Juventus amongst others. Though they are not going to be playing in Europe next season, the quality at Monaco and the money made available could be enough to attract the United winger. Ranieri has made it clear that they intend to pose a real threat on the Ligue 1's finest and are hoping to finish in the top 3 in the upcoming campaign. Monaco seem to be linked to everyone and anyone this transfer window, but Nani is the sort of player that could well join the club in the near future. Ranieri would surely be willing to pay £12 million after spending £27 million more on James Rodriguez from Porto. Monaco may not be the most appealing of the bunch as they are recently promoted and could face the problems that a club like QPR faced last season, a bunch of quality players who have not played together before struggling to settle. But Nani may not think that way and, like many others, may be in it for the money and agree a deal based on the six-figure salary. Nani, James and Falcao up top could be a deadly combination should it come into fruition.
