Another player who could drastically improve United in the wide areas and in attack is Chelsea's Juan Mata. The Spain international has cut an isolated figure at Stamford Bridge since the start of the season, and has yet to play 90 minutes of league football for the Blues. Mata did start in the weekend win over Norwich but was dropped entirely for games against Hull, United and Fulham. Rumours that he has had a personal falling out with Mourinho continue to persist and a January move could be on the cards, considering he appears surplus to requirements in West London as things stand. One club he could end up at is United, and that would be a real coup for David Moyes. Mata was Chelsea's stand-out performer last season and was even nominated for the PFA Player of the Year Award alongside such talents as Robin van Persie, Luis Suarez and eventual winner Gareth Bale. He has also been the Blue's Player of the Season for the past two years. But if he continues to be overlooked under Mourinho, Chelsea's loss could be United's gain. Who do you think David Moyes should sign this summer? Let us know in the comment section, below.
