Yet another prodigious goalscorer to make our list of potential Rooney replacements at Old Trafford is Atletico Madrid's imperious Radamel Falcao. The Colombian has been in equally as fine form this season as his counterparts Edison Cavani and Neymar and, along with the aforementioned duo, is considered one of the best forwards in world football. He has bagged a scorching 33 goals in 38 games in all competitions this season including 27 in La Liga to give Barcelona and Real Madrid a real run for their money for the top two spots this season. Though the South American looks increasingly likely to leave Spain at the end of the current campaign, he is reportedly
undecided on his future plans. Chelsea are long-term suitors but United were considered
favourites for his signature as recently as April. Just like everyone else on this list, he commands a whopping transfer fee. Atletico value him at
£45 million.
