7. Yann M'Vila
Current club: Rennes Though he has spent the summer being linked to Arsenal, Rennes captain Yann MVila is actually one of the hottest properties in Europe, despite questions about his attitude at Euro 2012 and European giants Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have all been credited with an interest recently. M'Vila is exactly the kind of player United need to add to their ranks. He sits deep like Cheick Tiote and is similarly styled, with impressive stamina, ball-control and a no-nonsense approach to defending, as well as positional discipline that would provide Sir Alex's team with the kind of strong, disciplined foundation that they have arguably lacked in recent years. The Frenchman could well be the missing piece of the puzzle, and though he would not come cheap, he is exactly the sort of determined and classy defensive midfielder who would flourish in the Premier League. He certainly wouldn't be a cheap option, but he would be a worthy foundation stone for Sir Alex's new-look midfield, and his presence might also boost Paul Scholes' remaining time at the club, offering the English veteran a safety net to free his creative play if he chooses to go beyond the end of this season. So what do you think United fans? Would you welcome any of the seven players above into your club? Have we missed any players you would prefer to see come through the Old Trafford doors?
