Man Utd Transfers: 7 Ridiculous January Targets Moyes Definitely Shouldn't Sign

1. Robert Lewandowski

Another striker who has been linked with United recently is Robert Lewandowski. The Borussia Dortmund hitman is one of the most coveted forwards in Europe following an excellent season last term which saw him hit 24 Bundesliga goals and finish as the second-highest scorer in the Champions League with 10 strikes. As such, United are interested, but it is more probable that the Polish poacher will instead end up at Bayern Munich, and Moyes should not waste time chasing the 25-year-old this winter as he did so fruitlessly with Cesc Fabregas over the summer. Lessons must be learned and surely Moyes will not attempt to gatecrash Bayern's move for the Dortmund destroyer, who has made it plainly obvious he will join the European champions. You also have to wonder if United really do need a new striker given that Danny Welbeck is enjoying a purple patch of form at the moment and Javier Hernandez is champing at the bit for playing time. Do you think United should sign any of these January targets? Let us know in the comment section, below.
