Man Utd: Wayne Rooney's 5 Greatest Goals From His 200

4. FA Cup Goal Vs Watford

Rooney was at it again in the FA Cup in 2007 when he helped United to the final of the competition by bagging a brace in the 4-1 crushing of Watford in the semi-finals. The first of his two goals was an absolute thunderbolt and came after just six minutes when he powered in a brilliant 20-yard drive to leave the goalkeeper beaten all ends up. Though Watford equalized, United would not be stopped and a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo after bundling in a Rooney cross was followed by the latter getting his second of the game from a not-as-spectacular close-range finish. Kieran Richardson chipped in a fourth to send United through to the final, which they lost 1-0 to Chelsea. The 2006-07 edition of the famous cup competition will however be remembered for two of the greatest goals ever seen and scored by Rooney.
