Newcastle: Alan Pardew's 8 Biggest Head Aches Right Now
3. Cisse Or Ayoze?
Despite the impact that Ayoze Perez has had in the two starts he's been given in the Premier League, and his three goals, questions will inevitably arise over whether he is ready to play first team every game. He was bought as a development player, and while he's made a massive impact so far, that will make it easier to keep him on the bench if Papiss Cisse (himself in form when he's fit) comes back to full fitness. His knee is still reacting badly to the screws in it, but it surely won't be long before we have two goal-scorers vying for a starting place. The Answer After that goal, Ayoze is undroppable, but Cisse is Newcastle's number 9 and will be aware of the prestige and power in the squad that gives him. He's unlikely to be happy about sitting watching Ayoze get all the glory, and though he will probably go to the African Cup Of Nations in January (assuming it happens), he's more than likely going to be back in the team as soon as his knee responds well.
