4. Douglas
Source: Sky Sports A player many Newcastle fans will be familiar with is FC Twentes Douglas, thanks to the various press reports linking the Brazilian to the club already. The player was linked with the club throughout last summer and issues with transfer fee and his desire to get Dutch eligibility meant a deal never materialised. However, in the summer the centre half will be out of contract with Twente and free to move, which could well reignite the Magpies' interest, especially as Mike Ashley certainly has an eye for a bargain nowadays. If Coloccini does indeed move home this summer, the experienced Brazilian could be a strong candidate to replace him. It is apparent that the centre back is ambitious and wants a move to a club in a top European league as he rejected a move to Anzhi in the winter window, but the player has recently said he dreams of a move to Inter Milan, which could scupper Newcastle's chances.
