Newcastle Transfers: 10 Dream Goalscoring Options Pardew Musn't Ignore

10. Jese

Newcastle United have already completed a loan move for Argentine striker Facundo Ferreyra this summer - but could they bring in another forward on a temporary basis? Jese Rodriguez is on the fringes at Real Madrid at present, with the 21-year-old attacker faced with the daunting task of usurping Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema from Carlo Ancelotti's starting XI at the Bernabeu. Jese made just 18 La Liga appearances last season and with an embarrassment of attacking riches at his disposal, Ancelotti may be tempted to loan the starlet out for a season in order to give him some valuable first team experience. If that is the case, Newcastle should keep a close eye on developments. Despite his limited playing opportunities in 2013-14, Jese was still able to score five league goals for Real, and clearly has potential. The Spaniard is versatile in that he can play from a midfield position behind the striker or on the wing, and is also able to play centre-forward. His acquisition would certainly give Magpies manager Alan Pardew options this season.
