2. Wilfried Bony
Newcastle have struggled badly up front in the second half of the Premier League season following the sale of Demba Ba to Chelsea and subsequent failure to replace him with like-for-like talent. The Senegalese star remains the Magpies' joint-top goalscorer this season with 13 strikes and that no one has been able to outscore him despite the fact he hasn't played for Pardew's side since January tells you all you need to know of how badly the Magpies have missed him. Pardew brought in Yoan Gouffran in January, and the former Bordeaux man has only scored twice since. It's clear then that Newcastle need to bring in another striker or two to ease the burden on Cisse, and one option is long-term target Wilfried Bony. Pardew came close to signing the striker in the January transfer window and could go in with a concrete offer for the Vitesse star in the summer. Comments made by the Ivorian recently
suggesting he'd like a move to the Premier League have put the Magpies on red alert for the £12 million-rated star, who has scored 46 goals over two years for his current club.
