Newcastle Transfers: 5 Reasons Pardew MUST Get Rid Of Papiss Cisse

3. To Take Advantage Of Cabella

Newcastle have already invested heavily this summer in changing the make-up of the team, and the acquisition of Frenchman Remy Cabella for a fee anywhere between £8m and £12m (depending on who you believe) looks a very smart one in terms of Alan Pardew's agenda to add more goals. And while the attacking midfielder scored 14 goals from midfield last season for Montpellier, the more intriguing stat from that time is that Cabella managed to outstrip even Moussa Sissoko in the chance creation stakes. He managed to create 81 chances for Montpellier last year, and if Newcastle want to take advantage of both he and Sissoko, they need someone better than Cisse in the middle. Otherwise they run the risk of upsetting Cabella, and forcing him onto more solo runs that might not be as profitable to the team overall.
