Newcastle Vs Liverpool: 10 Big Predictions From Around The Net

7. Mark Lawrenson - 1-1

Another former Liverpool player, but this time one with ties to Newcastle, after his disastrous role as part of Kenny Dalglish's back room team (he is still a figure of fun, judging by his unfortunate trip to Lisbon on the same flight as some very mocking Toon fans) - but this time a less spectacular prediction. Lawro - in his usual predictions column for BBC Sport - has said that Alan Pardew will continue his good form to snatch a draw. Typically, he couldn't resist getting in a dig about Newcastle being fickle:
"Newcastle are a team in form and, all of a sudden, Magpies boss Alan Pardew apparently knows what he is doing again. It seems to happen every few months - a manager who is supposedly about to get sacked wins three games in a row like Pardew has done and he is a genius."
Rachel Riley meanwhile - a Man Utd fan - has said we'll lose 1-3, despite not having lost a game we've scored in all season. What does she know anyway? Source.
