9. Steven Taylor
With Steven Taylor out of contract in the summer, a Newcastle relegation may be the defender's only chance of prolonging his Magpies career. He was part of the squad that bounced straight back up after they dropped into the Championship in 2009 and he may be able to add some much-needed experience to the club's ever-shaky backline. However, instead of partnering Fabricio Coloccini like he did last time in the second tier, Taylor would more likely take the Argentine's place, with this season's captain likely to finally get his return move to his homeland. After being labelled as a hot prospect after captaining his country through the youth stages, the centre back has certainly failed to live up to all the hype and, like Dummett, may be another youth prospect who is better suited to the Championship.
