Next Newcastle Manager: 10 Favourites To Replace Alan Pardew

1. David Moyes (2/1)

Status: Unemployed Sacked after delivering Manchester United's worst season of the modern era, Scotsman David Moyes is currently the slight bookies favourite to replace Alan Pardew in the Newcastle United hot seat. Having been out of the game over the summer, Moyes was linked with every Premier League job that came available over pre-season, including the Tottenham Hotspur vacancy that ultimately went to Manuel Pochettino. Despite his failure at Old Trafford, the positives of Moyes for owner Mike Ashley are obvious. He consistently for years managed to punch above his weight with very little resources at Everton. He not only managed to get the best of ordinary players but he could find gems on a limited budget that could be turned over for higher profits when sold. He created many different teams at Everton and also managed the impossible by making them break the top four and delivered Champions League football at Goodison (albeit short lived as they failed in the qualifier). He's available and likely hungry for the opportunity. A manager that only 15 months ago was good enough for the biggest club in the country (and Premier League champions at the time), is likely to be top of Ashley's list. Who do you think should be Newcastle United's new manager?Do any of the above names sound like reasonable choices to replace Alan Pardew?
