7. Julio Cesar
Speaking of QPR, the bizarre transfer policy under Mark Hughes that resembled less scouting and more throwing a dart at a bunch of player names leaves plenty of candidates that could and perhaps should be moved on in January. Jose Bosingwa, Esteban Granero, Park Ji-Sung, all have failed to impress and take home close to six figures a week. However, it was the decision to sign Julio Cesar, the Brazilian keeper from Internazionale, three games into the season and after the summer signing of Rob Green, that raised the most eyebrows. Cesar had lost form at Inter and picked up an injury in Redknapps first game in charge of Rangers. Since then Green has started in goal, and Cesar could struggle to get back in the team. With Big Phil Scolari now in charge of the Brazil national team, Cesar will be eager to get back playing and back in the national team. That might not happen at Loftus Road, and Redknapp would love to free up some money on that astronomical wage bill.
6. Scott Sinclair
Oh Scott. You cant say you werent warned. Adam Johnson spent two and a half frustrating years at Eastlands, playing in a team that did not use wingers, often criticised by his manager Roberto Mancini. He finally left for regular football, only to be replaced with another bright English talent. And in six months Sinclair has made just three appearances, two in the Premier League. Far, far behind the names of Aguero, Silva and Nasri, an unnatural fit for Mancinis numerous systems, the only accomplishment the ex-Chelsea and Swansea player has made at City is to inflate his bank balance (and live a bit nearer to his girlfriend Helen Flanagan). If Sinclair has any pretensions of being a proper footballer he should get out now while people still remember who he is.
