Premier League: 5 Deadline Day Transfers That Could Happen

1. Danny Graham To Sunderland

54danny graham Similarly to Odemwingie, Graham is a striker who has fallen out of favour, and is now looking to move elsewhere. Norwich were rumoured to have made a bid, and Reading also showed an interest, but it is Sunderland who seem to be leading the race for his signature, with the Babelcopter reportedly seen over Wearside as Graham attempts to strike a deal with the Black Cats. Norwich may step up their interest if they end up losing Grant Holt to Celtic, following Gary Hooper's admission that he wants to leave Celtic, although rumours of a possible swap deal between those two players refuses to go away. Reading are said to be keen on a number of targets, and it is unknown how high up the shortlist Graham is. Sunderland seems likeliest then, even if the player is said to be a boyhood Newcastle fan. I daresay the Magpies would've signed him, but he's not French, so he doesn't fit the bill. A partnership of Graham and Fletcher, with Sessegnon, Adam Johnson and Seb Larsson is enticing however, and would surely be more than enough to steer Sunderland away from the wrong end of the table. As always, please do comment with your own predictions, or just to tell me how far off the mark you think I am. Thanks for reading.
