Premier League Predictions: Who Will Finish In The Top Half?

3rd: Chelsea

Opinion is still divided over Agent Benitez (so called 'Agent Benitez,' because once his reign at Liverpool turned sour, United fans were convinced he was a sleeper agent working on the inside). After a somewhat shaky start, Chelsea have once again started to come good, and are showing themselves to be title contenders once more. Mata has suitable impressed yet again with a double figures tally of goals, justifying his selection in the majority of fantasy teams across the country, including mine. Chelsea have won the majority of their last handful of games, some of them by impressive margins, such as their 8-0 demolition of Aston Villa, and won them emphatically. Still hate Benitez? If it makes you feel better, his Christmas transfer shopping list is something to behold, with targets reportedly including Jesus Navas, Negredo, Isco and Iker Muniain. Chelsea should easily finish third (at least) with the squad that they have, and indeed I think they should be aiming higher if recent performances are anything to go by. But, I'll put you out of your misery now, and show you who we think will be also rans this year.
